As the largest growing population of foreigners in Manilva / Casares, we would like to do our bit to create a positive society and image of Belgians.

Therefore, since 2019, we have organised an annual Charity event in the autumn holidays. 

We donate yearly  the proceeds of our "charity walk" to a local charity.

In late October or early November 2024, we will walk again for charity. Keep an eye on our facebook page !

Our first charity walk took place in 2019. Then we chose a unique association from Manilva (AACC Los Castillejos) that supports gifted children.

In 2021, we donated EUR 375 to the organisation in Estepona responsible for the reconstruction of the Sierra Bermeja nature reserve, which was very badly affected by the massive fires in the summer of 2021.

In 2022, we supported (540EUR) an association (AFIMA) in Manilva that supports people with the rare disease, Fibromyalgia.

In 2023, we raised 460EUR through ADANA. The organisation ADANA, which runs entirely on volunteers, helps and cares for abandoned, sick or injured dogs and tries to give them back a 'home'. They work closely with local authorities to do this.
